The struggle
A 50-year pattern of hustle, burnout and self-abandonment
The F.I.T. LIFE Transformation
A soulmate marriage, a thriving legacy business and her memoir
Treena built a successful financial planning practice from the ground up. She went from employee to business owner, took the risk, and made it work despite growing up believing she was never expected to amount to much.
Raised in a small, church-run town in Manitoba by an alcoholic mother and an absent father, she'd been taught that her role in life was simple: become a wife and a mother. Nothing more. She married at twenty-two to the first man who showed her anything that felt like love.
Over time she built an education, a thriving career, and a successful business. But beneath it all was a belief she'd never questioned: that love meant sacrificing your own needs to keep everyone else happy.
That belief shaped every area of her life.
She hustled all day at work, came home to look after everyone else, poured herself a glass of wine to unwind, then another, then woke up and did it all again.
She had already proven she could create extraordinary success in business. What continued to elude her was genuine love, fulfillment, and happiness.
Despite everything she'd accomplished, she was deeply unhappy.
When Treena joined The F.I.T. LIFE Program, she didn't just learn concepts — she actively dismantled a belief system she had carried for over half a century by integrating the 8 Essential Life Skills that form the foundation of The F.I.T. LIFE Program.
Here's what this looked like for her:
1
Self-Connection
For the first time, she got honest about what she actually wanted from life, love, and work instead of settling for what she'd been taught was enough. She stopped confusing self-abandonment with love and decided to make her needs an equal priority with those she loved.
2
Elevated Mindset
Treena was incredibly positive, but she'd been using positivity to avoid what wasn't working. She learned that acknowledging what wasn't working for her wasn't negativity, nor did it make her ungrateful — it was the first step toward creating everything she wanted.
3
Emotional Regulation
Because she'd only ever seen difficult emotions expressed in unhealthy ways, she avoided them altogether. As she learned the tools to move through sadness, anger, and fear, she no longer needed constant busyness, wine, or retail therapy to cope.
4
Nervous System Regulation
As she learned to process fear instead of running from it, she stopped operating from constant pressure to keep up and perform. This allowed her to live more in the present moment, make time for worldly travel, enjoy more meaningful experiences and a life that wasn't consumed by work.
5
Elevated Communication
For the first time, she learned how to express what she needed in relationships and found a partner capable of meeting her with the same care, honesty and openness. This also allowed her to sharpen her leadership skills and feel more empowered to communicate clearly and confidently with her team at work.
6
Intuitive Discernment
She learned to separate her own inner knowing from the limiting beliefs she'd inherited growing up, giving her the confidence to trust herself instead of her fear-based conditioning.
7
Abundance Focus
After her divorce, she thought she might never be in another relationship because she feared losing herself again. Instead, she chose possibility. She wrote a clear, compelling vision of the relationship she wanted and within eight months and little effort, she attracted the man she would marry.
8
Aligned Action
Despite everything she'd been raised to believe, she began making decisions that reflected the woman she wanted to become instead of the woman she'd been conditioned to be. The choices weren't always easy, but they changed everything for the better.
"At 55 years old, I wrote a vision of the relationship I wanted. Eight months later we met. Now we're married. It truly is a vision come true. Plus, my business is doing better than ever and I'm physically healthier and happier than I've ever been."
