Privacy
The F.I.T. LIFE Method Academy Inc. (“The F.I.T. LIFE Method,” “we,” “us” or “our”) operates https://thefitlifemethod.com (the “Site”). This page explains how we collect, use and disclose personal information we receive from people who use the Site.
We use your personal information to provide and improve the Site and our services, and to communicate with you as described below. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
We collect personal information that you choose to share with us, such as:
- your name and email address when you join our email list, request access to the Mini-Series, or ask to stay in the loop about events
- information you submit through forms on our Site, such as a contact form or a 1:1 support request
- your messages in The Right FIT Guide (see Our Use of AI below)
When you book a call or session, sign up for an event or enroll in a program, you’re taken to our separate booking and membership site, thefitlifemethodacademy.com. Information you provide there is collected and handled under that site’s privacy policy.
LOG DATA
Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“Log Data”).
This Log Data may include information such as your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
In addition, we may use third-party services such as Google Analytics, which collect, monitor and analyze this information to help us understand how best to serve our users.
COMMUNICATIONS
We may use your name and email address to send you newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information, but only if you have opted in to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. Our email list is managed through Mailchimp, which may store your information on servers in the United States.
COOKIES
Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
Like many sites, we use “cookies” to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Site.
our use of ai
The Right FIT Guide is an AI-assisted chat feature on our website that lets you learn, explore and ask questions at your own pace, without speaking with a team member until you’re ready. It’s designed for anyone who wants immediate answers and the space to explore The F.I.T. LIFE Program for themselves before connecting with our team. As you chat with the Right FIT Guide, its recommendations are informed by the information you choose to share, such as your goals, needs, preferences, interests and what you’re looking for from the program. It uses that information to tailor its responses and offer specific, well-matched recommendations to help you feel clear and confident about your next steps.
An AI model writes the Guide’s replies. What the Guide knows, recommends and links to comes only from the instructions and knowledge library our team wrote and curated. That includes our programs, our coaching team, our approach, and our members’ shared stories. The Guide’s instructions, its knowledge library and your saved conversations are all housed on our own website, not on a separate platform. The only time your messages leave our website is when they’re sent to our AI provider to create a reply, as described below. The Guide is told not to invent information, and it points you to our team for anything it can’t answer. Like any technology, it can still make mistakes. Our published program pages and a conversation with our team are the final word.
When you use the Guide, we collect:
- the first name you choose to share (optional)
- your answers and messages in the chat
- basic technical information, such as the date and time, a session identifier, and your IP address
The Guide doesn’t ask for your email address or phone number in the chat.
We use your conversation to:
- reply to you and guide you through the chat
- review conversations so we can improve the Guide’s answers and accuracy
- keep track of how the Guide is used and what it costs to run
If you ask about 1:1 support, the Guide may add a short summary of your answers to the link for our request form, so you don’t have to type them again. If you submit that form, the summary is included in the request our team receives. Because the summary travels inside a web link, it may also appear in standard website logs, so the Guide keeps it brief and general.
We don’t sell your conversation, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models. The Guide doesn’t make the final decision about whether The F.I.T. LIFE Program is a match for you. It uses the information you share to help identify whether the program may be a good fit based on your needs and goals. If the Guide identifies a potential match, you’ll be given the option to book a Right Fit Call. We won’t contact you unless you choose to book a call or submit a request form. If you do book, you’ll meet with a member of our team to discuss your needs and goals further and determine the appropriate next steps together.
The Guide runs on our website through a WordPress plugin called AI Engine. Replies are generated by our AI service provider, OpenAI. OpenAI also screens messages with an automated safety filter. To create each reply, your messages are sent to OpenAI’s servers, which may be outside Canada, including in the United States. Under its business terms, OpenAI doesn’t use this information to train its models. It may keep it for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse, and then deletes it.
Chat transcripts and usage records are kept on our website for 30 days, then deleted automatically. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
The Guide is not a medical, mental health or crisis service. You don’t need to share health, medical or financial details for the Guide to help you, so please share only what you’re comfortable with. If you’re in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
Using the Guide is always optional. You’re welcome to explore our website or contact our team directly instead. By selecting “Got it! Let’s begin,” you agree to the use of the Guide as described here. To ask what we hold from your conversation, or to have it deleted, please contact our team. Let us know roughly when you chatted, so we can find it.
SERVICE PROVIDERS AND DATA OUTSIDE CANADA
We use trusted third-party services to run our Site and communicate with you, including Google Analytics (website analytics), Mailchimp (email) and OpenAI (The Right FIT Guide’s replies). These providers may store or process your information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country. We share only what each service needs to do its job, and we never sell your personal information.
YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our use of it, for example by unsubscribing from our emails or asking us to delete your chat. To make a request, please contact our team. We’ll respond within the time required by law. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
SECURITY
The security of your personal information is important to us, but no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
